No. All three cameras support local storage on the included 64GB microSD card. Live view, recordings, and motion alerts are all free with no subscription.
Can my spouse and I both get alerts?
Yes. The Tapo app supports multiple accounts with individual notification settings. The guide covers family sharing setup.

Will the door sensors work with Google Home?
